BLEAK SLUG TAIL

NEW

Libra Lures przyneta vertical_pelagic BLEAK SLUG TAIL grafika cel informacyjny

BLEAK SLUG TAIL, is another representative of the Vertical/Pelagic Series. As the name suggests, this lure features a body modeled after a 3D scan of a live bleak, strikingly resembling a real fish. The lure is 8.2 inches (21 cm) long but appears much more delicate due to its flattened body, which includes even the tiniest details like scales, fins, and gill cover arches. This body transitions into a narrow, slender tail with a spindle-shaped design (slug tail).
Such a construction ensures both body movement and subtle vibrations in the tail section, which reacts to the slightest tip movements or water currents. Even when seemingly held still, the lure continues to entice even the pickiest predators. It’s a secret weapon you must try when fish are finicky and refuse to strike at other lures. Play delicately with the Slug Tail, and you’ll discover its incredible effectiveness for yourself!

TACKLE

We select our gear based on the technique we want to present the bait with, as well as the species and size of fish we want to catch. As a standard, a universal setup for vertical fishing can includeva casting or spinning rod with a length of 140-185 cm when fishing from a boat, with a casting weight of 30-80 g, suitable for fishing in waters where the depth does not exceed 20 m. For greater depths, such as in sea fishing, it is recommended to choose equipment that allows for heavier rigging and a rod with a casting weight that meets our expectations for presenting the bait. A reel in size 4000 or a multiplier in size 201-301, paired with braided line of 0.12-0.18 mm and a fluorocarbon leader of 0.40–0.60 mm or 0.90 mm, which is safe for pike fishing. The leader can also be made of tungsten or steel.
