With as many as six size options (2–8 inches, from 5 to 20 cm), it can be perfectly matched to a wide range of fishing techniques and target species. Completing its versatility is a rich color palette and fish scent, available in the 5, 7.5, 10 and 12.5 cm versions. The action of the Kraken Shad closely imitates the movement of a small baitfish. Most importantly, its action is perfectly scaled to the size of the lure. The smallest models retain the characteristic body flash and tail movement while working with subtle, delicate action. As the lure size increases, Kraken Shads produce a more pronounced action without losing their original swimming characteristics, generating hydrodynamic vibrations appropriate to the size of the prey they imitate. Another major advantage of the Kraken Shad is the wide variety of rigging options it offers. Regardless of the size, one rule always applies: when using a classic jig head, avoid using a hook that is too long and makes the lure overly stiff. The realistically reproduced dorsal fin serves as the perfect indicator of the maximum hook length—leave the remaining part of the lure free to unlock the full potential of the Kraken Shad. The material used to produce our lures is so soft and flexible that even if a predator attacks away from the head, the lure folds naturally inside its mouth, ensuring an effective hookset.
