From Trout Passion to New Ideas
The “Trout Series” product line holds a special place in our hearts. It was where the Libra Lures story began. Our passion for trout fishing, competitive spirit and desire to bring our own ideas to life ultimately led to the creation of our company. And although our portfolio now includes lures for virtually all freshwater predators (and many others), we continue to turn new ideas into reality.
Slayzur 55 mm – Inspired by Nature, Effective Everywhere
One of those ideas, brought to life in 2026, is the Slayzur 55mm. This lure was inspired by the sand worm, a polychaete species found, among other places, in the waters of the Baltic Sea. It is a favorite food source for many marine fish, but our Slayzur performs brilliantly in freshwater as well. The shape of our new lure can best be described as spindle-shaped. It is slightly flattened along the dorsal and ventral planes and features two rows of appendages along the sides of the body. Its unique profile, soft material and lifelike appendages create strong vibrations that stimulate a fish’s lateral line, making Slayzur an irresistible snack for predators and many other species. A wide range of rigging options (available on our website) allows for countless presentation styles. Just like the rest of the Trout Series, Slayzur is available in a full range of proven colors, as well as cheese, krill, garlic and unscented versions, or… any of the 9 available scents that are another exciting addition to this year’s lineup!
