Bass Series, Drop Shot, and the Big Ones.

The toughest anglers don’t stop fishing

The end of the season gives us two options. Either get ready for the upcoming new opening or, despite all odds, keep fighting till the very end. We’ll tackle the first option later, but today we invite you to join the ranks of the toughest anglers who never stop believing, trying, and most importantly, catching, before the water’s surface turns into an icy sheet. Sure, it won’t be easy, but with our Bass Series lures, your chances will significantly increase.

The fish are getting ready for winter

With the drastic cooling of the water, fish change their positions. Sensing the approaching winter, they find places to safely endure this challenging period. Remember, our “buddies” are cold-blooded creatures, so their metabolism depends on the ambient temperature. Additionally, fish are generally well-fed after the intense early-fall feeding, so now they just maintain a state that ensures enough stored calories for winter survival. For the same reason, predators now carefully calculate whether the energy expenditure necessary to attempt getting some food is worthwhile in the context of potential gains. That’s why these “feeding windows” are getting shorter, making fish harder to catch. One recommendation for these less cooperative predators is the drop shot, especially with lures from the BASS SERIES.

Bass Series and Drop Shot

Drop Shot is a fantastic, year-round technique, but it’s worth utilizing its capabilities now as well. The concentrated weight allows you to keep the lure in the bottom zone, a favorite spot for fish. Also, by adjusting the hook’s height, you can freely modify and adapt to the current conditions and the activity of potential prey. Bass Series lures, imitation of long, fat earthworms rigged with a short hook, start working from the slightest water movements. The smallest twitch of the rod tip causes our lure to have additional twitches, electrifying pike, zander, and big perch, which will easily handle such a treat. Remember that with drop shot, you can practically stay in one place, lingering in the fish’s feeding area and enticing it much longer than with, for example, the classic drop technique. Don’t forget about scent additives enhancing our lures. During the meticulous, systematic hunting of predator locations, exposure to an enticing attractor is extremely long. Moreover, cold water excellently carries all aromas because, unlike the summer period, it has few of its own scents, coming, among other things, from aquatic plants.

Favorite Worms from the Bass Series

When heading out for the spinning “last hurrah,” make sure to bring your favorite Worms from the Bass Series. Patience, give them a chance and an opportunity to show their power, and you’ll witness the incredible job they can do. We’ve experienced their amazing effectiveness multiple times. Now it’s your turn!

Musta Shad – Premier League for Zander

Why do some lures work better for specific species? Fish do not read fishing magazines or tackle catalogs. They have no idea whether a lure was designed for one species or another. Instead, they rely on instinct, reacting to a lure’s appearance, action and the hydrodynamic vibrations it creates. That said, fish do have their
